Definition of SQL Server

Definition: SQL Server is a relational database developed and sold by Microsoft. Originally bought from Sybase, Microsoft have released versions 6, 6.5, 7, 2000 and 2005.

SQL Server uses an enhanced version of SQL called T-SQL.

The Express Edition of SQL Server 2005 is used in the C++ and C# tutorials.
