Everyone loves something for free and there is an amazing amount of legal, free downloadable material on the web. As I find more books I'll add them here as code goes in the C# source code library.
- C# Specification - this is the ECMA Standard ECMA - 334 - the C# Specification. A large pdf with over 530 pages.
- 340 Page C# Ebook 3.6 MB downloadable pdf on the Programmer's Heaven website. 14 Chapters covering the .NET Framework and C#.
- What the C or C++ Programmer needs to know about C# and the .NET Framework by well known author Charles Petzold. 267 pages in .PDF format or .xps. A zip file of the source code is also provided.
- C# and XML by Vijay Mukhi, Vinay Kalantri and Sonal Mukhi. 10 Chapters on Threads, Classes, Winforms and XML handling.
