Orwell Dev C++

By January 7, 2013

Follow me on:

Despite the confusing name, Orwell Dev C++ is actually a Windows IDE for C/C++ and C++ 11 that works with Two GCC compilers and provides syntax highlighting, autocomplete and code complete, profiling and debugging with GPROF and GDB and more.

If you've heard of Bloodshed Dev C++ then basically this is a fork of that which was also a fork (it gets messy- the joys of open source). As it's written in Delphi, I've not added it to the code library but instead the C++ general area. Note the project is hosted on Sourceforge.

Hello,

Can you please tell me if there is a relatively easy way to convert and/or upgrade Bloodshed Dev-C++ code to Owell-Dev-C++? I have a faculty member who is insisting we install the outdated Bloodshed on our up-to-date Windows 7 lab computers.
