Over four years ago I mentioned Adobe Alchemy a way of compiling C/C++ into ActionSCript 3.0. It's now known as the Adobe Flash C++ Compiler (FlasCC) and is a way of taking C/C++ code and bring your native code to browsers.
The development system uses Cygwin on Windows 7 and also works on Macs. This page describes how to set up the environment and compile a simple Hello World program. This is an alternative way to get native code into browsers to Google's Native Client.
