Joda-Time is a replacement for the Java date and time classes and popular with many Java developers. Three years ago author and Microsoft MVP Jon Skeet decided he was dissatisfied with the System.DateTime library and wanted to implement Joda as Noda for .NET.

After three years development Noda 1.0 was just released on Nov 7th.
