Slightly off topic, but not content with giving away the free Express Editions of Visual Studio, SQL server etc, Microsoft is now offering a three year almost zero cost MSDN professional subscription plus more for small startup businesses. It's free until you leave when it will cost you the vast sum of $100.00.

This scheme is called BizSpark and your business must be small to medium, less than a million dollar turnover. You get the full professional set of servers (SQL Server, Office Sharepoint etc), as well as support so its an excellent package. Plus they put you in touch with VCs and other companies. It's not just the USA either but around the globe through local agents. There's a 12 page PDF that explains it all so you can see whether you qualify and what's available.
