31 Free iPhone Apps with Full Source Code

By , About.com GuideOctober 26, 2008

Follow me on:

iPhone HTML Color ApplicationWell 25 so far with six to go. The website appsamuck.com is publishing 31 individual applications, each with full source code and graphics for the iPhone. There's a variety of apps ranging from HTML color values (pictured), through a Pumpkin face flashlight, touch drum, mobile altimeter, bouncing fireball and many more.

I've downloaded a few of these and am very impressed with them. Each demonstrates a certain aspect or aspects of iPhone programming. If you're learning to program the iPhone, these examples will help you move forward. I've added a permanent link in the iPhone source code library.

Also you can take a look at SIO2 engine website. It is a free iphone game engine for you to build your own apps on and you can purchase game source code which have been published on appstore to learn it easily. Here is the address: http://sio2interactive.com

Really these are not apps. In face even the last one is just a poor tech demo. These are extremely simplistic examples of some of the more basic functionality in the iPhone sdk.

The actual apple examples – and comments are much more insightful.

Well if you’ve published something better then let the world know. At the time when they came out there was very little published.
