Using Open Source on the move

Monday October 20, 2008
Borrocks UtilityThis week I'm on vacation at a country resort in the East of England. I'm using my wife's laptop (Windows) and fortunately we have free WiFi where we're staying. However I miss my usual collection of software on my Pc at home and have downloaded some open source applications for both capturing screen shots ( ZScreen) and for editing them. (Paint.Net). Both coincidentally are written in C# and I've added ZScreen to the C# code library. (Paint.Net is already there).

However my main point of this entry was to tell you about another open source project (in C++) which I found recently and appealed to my perverse nature. Written in C++ for Windows and Unix, it lets you add a negative comment to a text file in a highly visible fashion as pictured!
